IKM-Manning Youth Boys Basketball Tournament

Let's come together for a day of competitive spirit, camaraderie, and the joy of basketball at the IKM-Manning Youth Boys Basketball Tournament. Save the date and mark your calendars for February 3rd and witness the future stars of basketball showcase their talent and teamwork.

Grades: 4th/5th/6th

Awards: Medals will be awarded to 1st Place teams

The courts at IKM-Manning High School are about to come alive with the energetic dribbles and skillful plays of young athletes in the IKM-Manning Youth Girls Basketball Tournament! Here are the key details:

Tournament Highlights:

• Date: February 3rd, 2024
• Location: IKM-Manning High School

Grades:

• Open to girls in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. Get ready for an action-packed day of youth basketball excitement! (Max 8 teams per division)

Awards:

• Medals will be proudly awarded to the 1st Place teams in each category. A special recognition for the outstanding efforts and sportsmanship displayed on the court.

Rules:

Players: Players must complete in their grade classification or older division and 

only on one team.

1) All technical fouls will result in the awarding of two points, plus the ball.  Any player or coach that receives two technical fouls will be removed from the tournament

2) Official high school rules will apply for free throws

3) 15 minute halves, continuous clock. Clock will stop during the last 2 minutes of the game and OT. If a team is up by 20 points the clock will not stop

4) Team jerseys with numbers are required

5) Half time will last 3 minutes (Time can be reduced to stay on schedule)

6) Each team will be given two Timeouts per game, one additional TO for OT

7) Overtime: Will be 1 minute in length, a second overtime will be first team to score wins

8) Each team will be allowed a 2 minute warm-up period, warm-up periods are only guaranteed before your first game and can be reduced to stay on schedule

9) Substitute are allowed during dead balls

10) 6th grade teams may press in last 2 minutes of each half if the game is within 10 points

11) Half Court Man to Man must be played at grade levels of 4-5-6.
