The Hempstead Mustang boys basketball program prides itself in providing a first class educational athletics experience through the sport of basketball. We strive to create an opportunity for our athletes to develop into the best possible version of themselves, both on and off the court.

Our fundraiser will help offset the costs that come with providing this type of experience for our athletes. A few of the areas these funds will target include providing practice uniforms for all players, grades 9-12, and offsetting the costs of summer programming for all athletes.

We know for an athlete to fully engage in their program they need to feel a sense of belonging - a feeling they are part of something bigger than themselves. We believe that practice uniforms are a part of that sense of belonging. We want all of our players to feel a sense of TEAM and know they are part of something special. When athletes feel this way, they buy in and engage at a deeper level creating a much more rewarding experience.

We play in a tough league that demands our best, year around. We want our teams to feel like they can compete with anyone in season which means we need to put in the work in the off season. Summer programming and tournaments come with expenses and we want all of our athletes to have the opportunity to be a part of these important developmental experiences.
